KGA believes in the leadership of Southeast Asian girls and women to create social change. We recognize that young women of color are often marginalized in social justice movements; therefore, our programming invests in and empowers young Southeast Asian women and girls between the ages of 14-21 to become leaders in their community and their lives. |

L.I.F.E. - Learning to Impact for EmpowermentKGA's LIFE Program assists in the leadership development of all our members by supporting them academically and personally, in addition to parent engagement. It was developed in the past as a response to that lack of resources, support and access that young Southeast Asian girls had to reach for higher education and to attain their career goals. Our programming not only provides our members with the necessary tools to achieve their college and career goals, but also to develop and increase their self-efficacy and self-esteem. All members have access to one-on-one check-ins, academic counseling, tutoring, college awareness workshops, college tours, career exposure and opportunities, computer labs, supplies and printers. In addition we also provide all members with emotional support, and a safe space to personally grow and learn.
